Thanks! Elliot C. W. Johnson graduated from Williams College in 1910, married in 1916, had a career in the investment business, and spent his life in greater Boston (Brookline and Hingham). He died in Duxbury in 1955. I suspect that he and his mother are buried in Green-Wood Cemetery because that's where Sarah's brother, Francis Finch Robins, was buried in 1915.
Elisha, What a fun read!!! I am going to make sure Judith reads it as well. Doctor Johnson, what a scoundrel! Very entertaining, and of course my interest was heightened by the locations noted. Take care.
Fantastic research and story!!! Well done! I’d love to know what happened to their son and why he and his mother are buried in Greenwood cemetery.
I gone down rabbit holes like this with my own family histories
and it can be so engrossing and surprising!
Hope to hear more of your investigations.
